BMCCI holds seminar on ‘Legal Framework of Doing Business in Bangladesh’ 

The Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BMCCI) organized its 6th LegalTalk seminar focused on the topic of doing business in Bangladesh on Saturday. The seminar aimed to provide information and understanding on the legal aspects of conducting business in Bangladesh.

Barrister Nihad Kabir, a senior partner at Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed and Associates, presented insights on the relevant legal policies and guidelines to make doing business easier in Bangladesh.

Shabbir Ahmed Khan, BMCCI Senior Vice-President, stated that the seminar was aimed at those who wanted to comprehend the laws surrounding doing business in Bangladesh.

The participants had the opportunity to learn about the Competition Act, dispute resolution procedures, and other important topics such as company law, Foreign Exchange Regulation Act, and technicalities related to doing business in Bangladesh.
