Burger King has been crowned the Grand Prix winner at the 2025 Marketing Week Awards, alongside taking home the Long-Term Brand Building Award for its successful brand transformation campaign.

After years of losing ground to competitors, Burger King worked with agency BBH to reignite growth in the UK market. The brand centered its revival around its iconic Whopper burger, positioning it as the “king of pleasure” through creative storytelling and a focus on product quality. This long-term strategy significantly improved consumer perceptions of taste and premium value, resulting in a sharp rise in Whopper sales between 2017 and 2024, even as the category declined.
