We’re excited to announce a new strategic partnership with City Bank and BFDS that will make banking services faster and easier for freelancers in Bangladesh.

This agreement will allow freelancers to operate two accounts- a Freelancer ERQ Account and a Freelancer Savings Account- which will allow them to receive foreign currency earnings from online marketplaces into their Freelancer ERQ Accounts and retain the dollar amounts for further bona fide international payments (within regulatory limits) free of transactional cost.

This signing ceremony is just the first step in our partnership with City Bank and BFDS, and we’re looking forward to making life easier for freelancers in Bangladesh. Thanks for everything!

The occasion was also attended by Mahia Juned, deputy managing director of City Bank, and other high-ranking executives from both institutions.
