Dall-E AI Creates Stunning Humanoid Drawing by ChatGPT
OpenAI’s ChatGPT has recently been a hot topic, however, prior to its launch, the internet was fixated on another OpenAI project, Dall-E and Dall-E 2. These are AI models that generate digital images from user prompts. With Dall-E’s widespread popularity, many AI-generated images have surfaced in recent months. One user recently blended the two OpenAI models for a novel experiment.
On Saturday, a Reddit user utilized both Dall-E and ChatGPT in an interesting experiment. The user asked ChatGPT to describe its humanoid form and then fed that description to Dall-E, which generated an image of ChatGPT as a humanoid figure. The outcome of the experiment was the creation of this unique image.
“My appearance boasts a shiny, metallic surface with illuminating highlights that symbolize my virtual essence and data processing abilities. My eyes serve as screens that alter hues or display information, and I possess augmented reality capabilities that enable me to project a holographic interface. Additionally, I possess several one-of-a-kind features, such as the ability to control digital objects and information through gestures.”

It goes without saying that this was not a rigorous scientific experiment. The image does not actually depict ChatGPT in reality and is not even fit to be a wallpaper. Nevertheless, it is inevitable that these AI systems will start to interact with each other in the near future. The outcomes may not be perfect, but it will be fascinating to repeat the experiment in a year and observe the differences.
In the meantime, ChatGPT is about to face stiff competition from Bard. Google recently launched its experimental conversational AI service, which will soon be accessible to the public. Will ChatGPT still retain its popularity when Google integrates conversational AI into its Search feature?
