Daraz just wrapped up its much-anticipated 11.11 Biggest Sale of the Year, making e-commerce accessible to 20 million consumers across Bangladesh. The platform aims to offer the best prices and a wide range of products, catering to local communities.
This year’s top-selling items included essentials like salt and milk powder, allowing shoppers to make significant savings and improving their quality of life.
Daraz supported over 30,000 brands and sellers during the sale, helping them scale their online businesses. Many sellers saw a notable increase in sales, with a 100% rise in those achieving at least 1,500 Tk in sales within the first 24 hours.
The platform also empowered content creators, witnessing a remarkable 400% growth in their earnings compared to last year’s 11.11 sale.
To expand accessibility, Daraz broadened its delivery network to cover more cities, resulting in a 600% surge in shoppers outside Dhaka. With the aid of logistics partners employing over 2,500 riders, Daraz ensured deliveries even to remote areas, covering distances as far as 576 kilometers.
