Daraz and bKash Partner to Enable SME Sellers to Use bKash for Payment

Daraz Bangladesh and bKash have collaborated to facilitate small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in conducting business on Daraz via bKash merchant account.

This joint venture will enable entrepreneurs in semi-urban, rural, and remote areas to sell their products on Daraz and receive payments easily via bKash, without needing a bank account.

This initiative is expected to boost economic growth and generate new entrepreneurs, thereby reducing unemployment in the country.

Currently, more than 550,000 merchants, including small and large businesses, receive payments through bKash, many of whom are not registered on Daraz.

By allowing bKash merchants to sign up as sellers on Daraz, this initiative offers an alternate mode of transaction and allows more sellers to conduct business with Daraz.

Consequently, customers will have access to a wider range of products and services on the platform.
