Daraz celebrates ‘1 Lakh DigiBox Delivery’ milestone, launches 27th digibox in Banani, Dhaka
Daraz Bangladesh, the leading e-commerce marketplace, recently commemorated the significant achievement of delivering 100,000 DigiBoxes. In addition to this milestone, the company also inaugurated its 27th DigiBox at Asfia Tower, located in Banani, Dhaka. This latest DigiBox installation offers customers an innovative IoT-based automated collection facility.
The distinguished launch event took place at the ICT tower on October 11, 2022, with the honorable presence of Zunaid Ahmed Palak, the State Minister of ICT. A press release highlighted the successful introduction of this service.
During the celebration event, notable individuals from both Daraz Bangladesh Limited and DigiBox were present to mark the occasion. Syed Mostahidal Hoq, the Managing Director of Daraz Bangladesh Limited, along with Khondoker Tasfin Alam, the Chief Operating Officer, and A H M Hasinul Quddus Rusho, the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, among other high-ranking officials, represented Daraz. From the DigiBox side, Chairman Morshedul Alam Chaklader, Head of a2i Commercial Strategy Rezwanul Haque Jami, and e-Commerce Implementation Expert of A2i Tawfique Ahmed, along with other officials, were also present to share the joyous moments.

Khondoker Tasfin Alam, the Chief Operating Officer of Daraz Bangladesh, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “DigiBox was introduced in October ’22, and we are delighted to witness its popularity and positive feedback from our valued users, regardless of demographic barriers. Currently, the ‘Made in Bangladesh’ DigiBox is operational in six divisions. Our goal is to gradually expand this service across the entire country in the shortest possible time.”
The press release also stated, “By reaching the milestone of 100,000 deliveries through the DigiBox service, Daraz firmly believes that we are entering the next era of digitization in Bangladesh. After establishing the largest and most robust logistics infrastructure in the country, Daraz is now committed to building a smart Bangladesh with more environmentally friendly initiatives like this.”
