Daraz hosts ‘Rider Graduation Program’

On Sunday (12 February), Daraz Bangladesh partnered with Hashimukh Shomaj Kallayan Shongstha to host a career counseling session. This session was part of their “Rider Graduation Program”, which aims to provide both hard and soft skills training to their delivery men to help them explore new career opportunities in a competitive market, as stated in a press release.

The program was led by Nusrat Akter, the co-founder and president of Hashimukh Somaj Kallayan Songstha, and Md Abdul Quayyum, the head of communications for UNDP Bangladesh.

During the session, A H M Hasinul Quddus (Rusho), the chief corporate affairs officer of Daraz Bangladesh, said, “E-commerce is the future-friendly business model in the world, and delivery is a crucial part of it. We regularly organize training and skill development programs for our riders to enhance their abilities.”

“In addition to computer skills, we also aim to train our riders on important aspects such as maintaining a safe distance while delivering a product, handling any unpleasant situations, and more. Our primary objective is to ensure on-time product delivery, and we are dedicated to training our riders to achieve that goal,” he added.
