Daraz is looking for Regional Marketing Corporate Communication Associate
Daraz, founded in 2015, is South Asia’s leading e-commerce platform, empowering 100,000+ sellers with digitalized logistics and payments infrastructure, serving 500 million people in multiple countries.
The Regional Branding & Communication team in Daraz is the guardian of the brand, and will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies/content that support Daraz’s business objectives in the South Asia region. The Regional team will work collaboratively with local ventures to increase brand awareness, deliver engaging content, and build brand equity across both offline and online touch-points of the user journey. They are looking for a resourceful Regional Marketing Corporate Communications Associate who will be tasked to guide and coordinate with local ventures in managing Daraz Group’s communications to strengthen the brand reputation across the region.
Job role:
Corporate Communications:
- Build thought leadership for Daraz by identifying key media topics, trends, and media engagement opportunities across the region
- Guide local ventures in corporate communication planning and potential risk mitigation
- Content management of Daraz’s Group communication channels, including Daraz’s Group LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Corporate website and newsroom management. Assist in monthly closing activities
Executive Communications:
- Partner with Daraz Group Senior leadership to identify speaking engagements, media outlets to showcase Daraz as the leading e-commerce player in South Asia
- Assists senior leadership in developing presentations, speeches, talking points for internal and external communications
Administrative Support:
- Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the group’s activities, including but not limited to generating or compiling reports, managing email boxes, processing of PO and invoices etc
Requirements:
- Masters/Bachelor degree in English, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
- 3 to 4 years’ solid experience in Public Relations/Corporate Communication agency
- Skilled in crafting presentations, speeches, and talking points for internal and external communication
- Proficient in content management across social media, corporate websites, and newsrooms
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Proficient in Google Suite or related software
- Organized with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills
