DoorDash has officially become the fastest growing brand in the United States in 2025 according to Morning Consult’s Fastest Growing Brands Report. Out of nearly 5000 brands tracked DoorDash saw the biggest rise in purchasing consideration among American adults surpassing last year’s leader WNBA and 2023’s top brand ChatGPT.
Bobby Blanchard Senior Director at Morning Consult noted that DoorDash’s success comes from expanding beyond restaurant deliveries. The company now offers groceries convenience items and other local goods making it more of a local commerce platform than just a food delivery app.
Who’s Ordering More
DoorDash recorded a 6.39 percent increase in purchasing consideration between Q1 and Q3 of 2025. Growth was strongest among Gen X baby boomers and middle income households earning between 50000 and 99900 dollars annually.
The brand ranked No 1 among men and No 2 among baby boomers overall. Interestingly younger boomers who use DoorDash tend to have more disposable income are more likely to be divorced or widowed and often prefer delivery for convenience and independence as they age.
Social Shopping and Classic Comebacks
Fruit of the Loom took the second spot proving that traditional brands can still stay relevant. Meanwhile TikTok Shop ranked third reflecting the boom in social media based ecommerce. The report found that nearly 20 percent of Americans now buy through social media apps weekly up from 11 percent in 2023.
Blanchard explained that social shopping does not replace traditional ecommerce it enhances it. Brands that skip platforms like TikTok risk missing large audiences who shop where they scroll.
Health and Protein Power
A growing interest in health wellness and protein rich products has pushed several yogurt and fitness brands up the list.
- Siggi’s tied with Fanatics at No 7
- Activia tied with Barbie at No 17
- Danone and Chobani also appeared among the top 20 for TikTok users
- Fitness brand Whoop ranked No 14 overall
The data shows Americans especially Gen Z and high income earners are becoming more focused on nutrition wellness and active lifestyles. Among households earning over 100000 dollars brands like Ironman and Gold’s Gym made the top 20 showing how fitness has become a status driven pursuit.
Gaming Gets a Boost from Gen X
While the younger crowd is working out Gen Xers are gaming more than ever. The share of Gen X consumers playing console games weekly rose five points since 2024 and over ten points since 2022.
Top gaming brands among Gen X include
- Call of Duty No 2
- Nintendo No 9
In addition Nike’s Jordan Brand ranked No 17 showing nostalgia’s power as many Gen Xers grew up during Michael Jordan’s prime years with the Chicago Bulls in the 1990s.
What the Trends Reveal
