Drawing Competition for Children at the Mirpur Furniture Eid Festival 2023

As part of the festivities at the Mirpur Furniture Eid Festival 2023, a captivating drawing competition for children aged 6 to 12 years was organized. The event took place at the Mehfil Convention Hall in Sheorapara, Mirpur, Dhaka, as stated in a press release.

A total of 55 enthusiastic children participated in the competition, each provided with drawing paper by the event organizers. The judges carefully evaluated the artistic creations and selected the top 17 drawings, honoring the young talents with prizes and certificates.

Mirpur Furniture Eid Festival 2023, which commenced on June 6, offers a delightful array of activities and exhibits. Spanning from Agargaon to Mirpur 10, the fair boasts the participation of prominent furniture companies such as Hatil, Akhtar, Navana, and Nadia, with a combined total of 100 showrooms.

The opening ceremony of the fair welcomed State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumdar as the esteemed chief guest, while Alhaj Sheikh Abdul Awal, President of the Mirpur region of the Bangladesh Furniture Industry Owners Association, presided over the event. Distinguished guests, including President of the Bangladesh Furniture Industry Owners Association Salim H. Rahman, Secretary General Md Elias Sarkar, and Organizing Secretary A. Karim Majumder, graced the occasion as special guests.

The organizers believe that the “Mirpur Furniture Eid Festival 2023” will serve as a significant platform to alleviate the challenges faced by domestic furniture traders in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.
