Google Visits Walton TV Manufacturing Plant
A team of Google representatives from the Asia Pacific region recently paid a visit to the Walton Television Manufacturing Plant, which is operated by Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC. The delegation, comprising Mahin Sahin, Director of Google Platforms and Ecosystem Partnerships for SEA/SAF, Usman Sheikh, head of Platforms and Ecosystem Partnerships for SAF, and Golam Kibria, head of Industry in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, arrived at Walton’s headquarters.
Upon their arrival, Raisa Sigma Hima, Director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC., warmly greeted the team with flowers. Notable figures from Walton, including Chief Business Officer Engineer Mostafa Nahid Hossain, Deputy CBO Muhammad Ali, and Head of TV Research and Innovation Center Mithun Chakraborty, were also present during the visit, alongside management representatives Iman Hossain, Arman Ibn Shahjahan, and Humayra Hossain.

The Google delegation had the opportunity to witness the cutting-edge, internationally recognized Walton Television manufacturing plant located at the Walton headquarters. Furthermore, the visit encompassed constructive discussions between the delegation and Walton officials regarding future plans for Walton Google TVs. The visit signifies a potential collaboration between Walton and Google in the development of advanced television technology.
