Grameenphone Accelerator set to launch regional bootcamp for entrepreneurs

Grameenphone Accelerator is gearing up to introduce a program titled “Empowering Visionary Entrepreneurs Across Every Region,” which is a Regional Design Bootcamp.

A press release states that the event is scheduled to take place at the Banani branch of Hotel Sheraton Dhaka on Wednesday, September 27th, starting at 5:30 pm.

The primary objective of this initiative is to provide aspiring startup founders from 20 diverse regions within the country with essential mentorship, access to valuable networking opportunities, and potential funding.

Being the prominent telecommunications company in Bangladesh, Grameenphone has initiated this project with the aim of fostering a brighter future for entrepreneurs and contributing to the government’s vision of achieving a ‘Smart Bangladesh.’ For this year’s iteration of GP Accelerator, Startup Bangladesh Limited (SBL) will serve as the Strategic Partner.

The event will be graced by the presence of Zunaid Ahmed Palak, the State Minister for ICT, who will attend as the chief guest to inspire and support this entrepreneurial initiative.

Yasir Azman, the CEO of Grameenphone, and Sami Ahmed, the Managing Director and CEO of Startup Bangladesh Limited, will also be in attendance, along with various other distinguished guests.
