Grameenphone introduces digital lifestyle subscription: Prime
Grameenphone has launched an exciting digital lifestyle subscription called ‘Grameenphone Prime,’ which is an enhanced and rebranded version of their postpaid product, MyPlan.
The launch event took place at Le Méridien Dhaka on July 15, with the presence of esteemed personalities such as Engineer Md Mohiuddin Ahmed, Vice-Chairman of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), according to a press release.
Influencers, celebrities, and public figures like Nuhash Humayun, Elita Karim, Morshed Mishu, Amitabh Reza, and Shirin Shela were also in attendance.
During the event, the popular singer Pritom Hasan was announced as the ‘Face of Prime’ and will collaborate with Grameenphone to create a special song.

Mohiuddin, the chief guest, praised Grameenphone for its pioneering role in the telecom sector and its sustained top position in the market. He acknowledged that Grameenphone has consistently shown innovation and ambition to contribute productively to the nation since receiving their license from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in 1996.
Sajjad Hasib, the Chief Marketing Officer of Grameenphone, expressed excitement about the launch of Prime, emphasizing that Grameenphone aims to provide customers with more “lifestyle” values and contribute to their multifaceted lives. He believes that Prime, as a comprehensive digital lifestyle subscription, will revolutionize the telecom industry and continue to support the vision of a ‘Smart Bangladesh’ through innovative and accessible digital solutions.
