Chinese home appliances manufacturer, Gree, organized its Business Meet 2024 – Bangladesh Chapter at the Hotel Pan Pacific Sonargaon in Dhaka, with the participation of conference and channel partners. The conference commenced at 10:30 am.
To open the conference, Mohammed Nurun Newaz, Chairman of Electro Mart Group, expressed his gratitude to the participating business partners and guests. He thanked the partners and well-wishers for their contributions to the promotion and marketing of Gree’s world-class electronic products to Bangladeshi consumers for over two decades.
Newaz mentioned that the Electro Mart Group is working towards advancing the electronics sector of the country. The group is already in the process of establishing a factory in Narayanganj to provide high-quality electronics products at competitive prices to meet customer needs.
Electromart is one of the distributors of Gree products in Bangladesh and the local producer of the Chinese brand’s air conditioners.
In his welcome speech at the conference, Electro Mart’s DMD, Mohammad Nuruchhapa Babu, highlighted the significance of the conference’s success, which was made possible through the contributions of partners and channel partners who have been instrumental in marketing Gree air conditioners for more than two decades. He expressed that the journey’s success would not have been achievable without everyone’s cooperation and unwavering support.

The conference also welcomed Ryan Cheung, Head of Residential AC, South Asia, and Jacques Ren, Head of Central AC, Gree.
Ryan expressed gratitude to the partners for their role in making Gree products readily available and accessible to Bangladeshi consumers. He noted Electro Mart as Gree’s best foreign business partner.
Jacques shared information about Gree’s central air conditioning system, which offers efficient space cooling at a cost-effective price.

Nurul Amin, Managing Director of Electro Mart, highlighted how Bangladesh’s electronics sector, which was once entirely dependent on imports, has evolved into a self-sustaining industry thanks to the government’s industry-friendly policies. He expressed hope that Gree’s electronic products, recognized as the world’s number one, would soon be exported abroad as “Made in Bangladesh” products.
