Guardian Life Insurance launches Automated Claim Processing System
Guardian Life Insurance Limited (GLIL) has adopted a secure digital solution for end-to-end claims settlement Automated Claim Processing System (ACPS) for the very first time in Bangladesh.
A press release states that customers will be able to receive their claims payout from the comfort of their homes with this new feature.
The introduction of ACPS, a 100% paperless facility, has the potential to decrease the average claim processing time by 50%.
Guardian Life Insurance’s Claims department has implemented the ACPS channel, which allows for claims to be settled within five business days and specific Covid-19 claims to be resolved in only three days.
Currently, corporate and EasyLife customers of Guardian Life Insurance can submit life and medical insurance claims, including hospitalization and death, through ACPS anytime and from any location.
To ensure efficient and accurate service, specific parameters have been established for the portal through which claims are filtered and forwarded for processing.
After reviewing the claims, the company will make payments to its customers through online payment channels, including banks.
