Job Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with management to develop and implement an effective communications strategy.
  2. Develop, write, edit, and distribute engaging content across various platforms, including publications, press releases, website content, reports, speeches, and marketing materials.
  3. Establish and maintain strong relationships with journalists, manage media databases, and analyze metrics.
  4. Identify opportunities to enhance brand reputation and coordinate publicity events as required.
  5. Create compelling content for print and web, including the company website, blog, brochures, and newsletters.
  6. Plan and execute comprehensive communications strategies.
  7. Monitor the company’s social media presence and online activities.
  8. Organize and oversee promotional events.
  9. Recommend techniques to improve the company’s public image.
  10. Ensure all promotional and marketing materials align with the company’s brand identity strategy.
  11. Serve as the main point of contact for media and public inquiries.
  12. Track analytics and generate reports detailing the success and failures of communications campaigns.
  13. Ensure all communications and marketing materials adhere to brand standards.
  14. Maintain digital media archives, including photos and videos.
  15. Collaborate with the communications team to conceptualize and implement effective communication strategies and campaigns.
  16. Respond to media inquiries and actively engage in media outreach to secure brand placement in relevant publications.
  17. Develop escalation protocols for managing communication crises, if required.
  18. Respond to questions from employees, company managers, and media outlets.
  19. Manage contracts and relationships with vendors and business partners.
  20. Deliver written and verbal communications within designated deadlines.
  21. Educate staff members on communication processes.
  22. Develop internal company newsletters for employees, vendors, and business partners.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a marketing or communications position.
  3. Proficiency in social media best practices, including Facebook, YouTube, Google My Business, etc.
  4. Exceptional writing skills with the ability to create engaging and accurate content.
  5. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  6. Excellent time management skills and the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Understanding of communications, public relations, and marketing best practices.
  8. Strategic thinking ability to identify opportunities for improving communication efforts.
  9. Resourcefulness and self-motivation, even with minimal direction.
  10. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  11. Proficiency in computer applications, including Word, PowerPoint.
  12. Effective project prioritization and multitasking skills.
  13. Good public speaking skills.
  14. Strong attention to detail.

Salary: Negotiable.
