People from various walks of life in the country are stepping forward to help those affected by the devastating floods. 

Many organisations are donating at least one day’s salary from their employees as relief funds. Leading smartphone brand Honor has now joined this effort.

Continuous heavy rainfall, along with the water flow from India, has caused one of the worst floods in recent memory in 11 districts of the country.

Millions of homes and farmlands have been submerged, and nearly 4.5 million people have become trapped or affected by the floodwaters, leading to a humanitarian crisis in the flood-affected areas.

In a press release, Honor Bangladesh stated that their employees, with mutual consent, decided to contribute one day’s salary to help the flood victims.

Given the current flood situation in the country, various forms of assistance are urgently needed. In times of such disasters, it is everyone’s duty to provide support and assistance according to their capacity.
