IDLC Finance Olympiad 3.0 ends

The gala round of the third season of the online finance quiz competition, “IDLC Finance Olympiad 3.0,” took place on Friday at Krishibid Institution Bangladesh in the capital.

A press release announced that IDLC Finance Limited partnered with 10 Minute School to host the largest Finance Olympiad in the country. The online round, which started on January 17, 2023, saw over 150,000 participants aged 16-24 from across the nation.

The top 100 candidates from the online round moved on to the offline round, where the top 10 finalists competed for the championship at the grand finale. The winner of IDLC Finance Olympiad 3.0 received a cash prize of BDT 3 lakh, an investment fund, and an internship opportunity at IDLC. The first and second runners-up were awarded cash prizes of BDT 2 lakh and BDT 1 lakh, respectively.

In addition, Ten Minute School granted scholarships to the top 100 candidates from the online round. The prizes were presented by the Chief Guest of the event, Dhaka North City Corporation Mayor Atiqul Islam, and M Jamal Uddin, CEO and Managing Director of IDLC Finance Limited.

M Jamal Uddin, CEO and Managing Director of IDLC Finance Limited, expressed his commitment to improving the skills of young people and stated that IDLC believes that the youth needs assistance to develop financial maturity. He hopes that through the Finance Olympiad initiative, young people can learn crucial aspects of financial management in both their personal and professional lives.
