“Ispahani Mirzapore Banglabid” is back again
The country’s largest TV reality show ‘Ispahani Mirzapore Banglabid’ has outset for the fifth time with the promise of inspiring new the generation to practice and use more Bengali language and culture in their lifestyle. Ispahani Mirzapore, the most popular tea brand in the country, is organizing this competition since 2017 with the vow to spread the practice of pure Bengali to the new generation with the slogan ‘Banglay Jago Bhorpur’. It is to be noted due to the spread of the corona virus in the country, the fourth annual event could not be completed even after starting in 2020. At the end of the Corona pandemic crisis period, considering the huge interest of children, teenagers, and parents across the country, Ispahani Tea Limited has decided to start ‘Ispahani Mirzapore Banglabid’ once again.
Ispahani Mirzapore organizes this competition to promote the practice and use of correct Bengali language, spelling, and grammar to the new generation of this country. The first, second, and third seasons have already been widely praised among Bengali language speakers in and outside of the country. After proving competency in the Bengali language, spelling, correct pronunciation, and exact use of Bengali grammar, winners will be selected. Notably, the champion of Ispahani Mirzapore Banglabid 2017 was Nusrat Sayem, a student of Viqarunnisa Noon School & College, Debasmita Saha was the Champion of Ispahani Mirzapore Banglabid 2018, a student of Dr. Khastagir Government Girls School, Chattogram and PKM Sajedur Rahman Shahed was the champion of Ispahani Mirzapore Banglabid 2019, a student of Bogura Cantonment Public School and College.
This year it is going to be organized on a larger scale. The size of the studio is getting bigger this year and new games and challenges will be added. It is notable that there were more than a hundred thousand registrations in Ispahani Mirzapore Banglabid 2020, which made Ispahani Mirzapore Banglabid the largest TV reality show in this country in terms of registration.
The main objective of this competition is to find out the best blend of personas who are skilled in the Bengali language, and spelling and uses other strata of Bengali grammar. Participants will have to go through several different selection processes and only those with a deep interest in becoming modern-day language fighters are encouraged to register. The first three winners will get 10 lac, 3 lac, and 2 lac taka each respectively. Also, the first 10 winners will receive a laptop along with Bengali books and a bookshelf worth 50,000 taka each to create his/her own library.
Initially, students of classes 6 to 10 across the country will take part in the competition. The primary audition will take place in eight divisional cities and Cumilla. After primary selection, selected participants will be brought to Dhaka for the studio round and they will compete against each other on the rounds to prove their competency in the Bengali language. Later, this contest will be telecasted on Channel-i. Final winners will be selected after 20 different episodes of exciting competitions. An experienced judges’ panel consisting of Bengali language and culture experts will be actively involved in the entire process. ‘Ispahani Mirzapore Banglabid’ is honored to have the honorable Vice Chancellor of Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, Dr. Soumitra Shekhar; renowned writer Anisul Haque, and noted media personality Tropa Majumder as judges of the program. Registration for the contest started on 21st December 2022 and will continue till 19th January 2023.
On this occasion, in a press conference at channel-i, the Directors of the Ispahani group Ms. Zahida Ispahani and Mr. Emaad Ispahani were present. Director General of Bangla Academy, Kabi Muhammad Nurul Huda was present as the chief guest and the program was presided over by Channel-i Managing Director, Mr. Faridur Reza Sagar. Mr. H.M. Fazle Rabbi, DGM of Ispahani Tea Limited was present at the press conference along with the other officials of Ispahani and Channel-i.
