The sixth edition of the merit-based TV reality show ‘Ispahani Mirzapur Banglabid’ will hold its qualifying round for the Barisal division on Friday. This event will take place at Barisal Government Model School and College premises, starting at 9 am.
Organized by Ispahani Tea Limited under the banner ‘Banglay Jagi Bharpur’, this competition aims to promote the use of pure Bengali language across the country. Registered students from the Barisal division are encouraged to participate.

The competition will evaluate contestants on their proficiency in the Bengali language, focusing on spelling, pronunciation, and grammar. The final winner will receive a merit scholarship of Tk 10 lakh, while the second and third place winners will receive scholarships of Tk 3 lakh and Tk 2 lakh, respectively. Additionally, the top 10 contestants will be awarded a laptop each, along with Bengali books and a bookcase worth Tk 50,000 to help them build a personal library.
