Gas Monkey, an IT startup, is introducing a home delivery service for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders at government-regulated prices. Through the Gas Monkey app available on Android and iOS, customers can conveniently browse and select their preferred brand of LPG cylinder for delivery.
The company, as stated in a press release, guarantees swift home delivery and efficient cylinder setup. Currently operating in the Dhaka metropolis, Gas Monkey has ambitious plans to expand its LPG cylinder home delivery services nationwide in Bangladesh in the near future, according to Khondoker Ershad Jahan, the founder and chief executive officer of the company.

With the LPG industry in Bangladesh experiencing a 15-fold growth over the last decade, and anticipated to grow an additional 10 times by 2030, Gas Monkey is tapping into the increasing demand for convenient and accessible LPG services. The country’s monthly consumption of LPG cylinders averages around 90 lakh.

Having achieved the milestone of serving 10,000 customers within its first year of establishment, Gas Monkey aims to extend its reach and cover 10 percent of LPG users in the country over the next two years.
