Jamuna Group, is a prominent and diversified private company in Bangladesh, with a rich history dating back to 1974. Over the years, it has expanded into 24 large-scale SBUs, spanning various sectors, from manufacturing electrical accessories to real estate, demonstrating its commitment to the country’s growth and prosperity. Jamuna Group (Jamuna Future Park) is hiring GM for Sales & Marketing (Mall Entertainment). The title “GM – Sales & Marketing (Mall Entertainment)” likely refers to a senior management role within a company or organization that specializes in mall entertainment.

Job Responsibilities

  • As the General Manager, you would have overall responsibility for the mall entertainment division or department. This involves overseeing various aspects of the business, including sales, operations, finances, strategy, and team management.
  • In this context, sales could involve generating revenue through various means, such as ticket sales for entertainment events, leasing space to vendors, or selling promotional and advertising opportunities within the mall entertainment area like Future world, Vouge life style, Bowling Section, Car Parking area, Convention Hall etc. The GM would be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Marketing is crucial for promoting the mall’s entertainment offerings and attracting customers. This could involve creating advertising campaigns, organizing promotional events, utilizing social media and digital marketing, and collaborating with external partners to market the entertainment options effectively.
  • Understanding the specific needs and trends in the mall entertainment industry is vital. This might include managing entertainment programs, ensuring a diverse range of offerings, and staying up-to-date with the latest entertainment trends to meet customer demands.
  • The GM would likely manage a team of professionals, including sales and marketing staff, event planners, and possibly entertainers or performers. Effective leadership and team coordination are essential for success in this role.
  • Overseeing the financial health of the mall entertainment division is crucial. This involves budgeting, financial planning, monitoring expenses, and ensuring that the division operates profitably.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, tenants, and partners is essential. This could involve gathering feedback, addressing customer concerns, and continually improving the entertainment offerings to enhance the customer experience.
  • Exploring and managing partnerships with other businesses or organizations that can enhance the mall entertainment experience, such as collaborating with restaurants, cinemas, or event organizers.
  • Ensuring that the mall entertainment division complies with all relevant laws and regulations, such as safety standards, permits, and licensing.
  • Developing long-term strategies to drive growth and profitability in the mall entertainment sector. This might involve identifying new revenue streams, expansion plans, and keeping an eye on industry trends.

Educational Requirements

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from any reputed institution.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 12 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
    Brand Marketing, Brand Planning/ Development, Brand Promotion and Development
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Group of Companies, Shopping mall

Additional Requirements

  • Age at least 35 years
