JCI Dhaka Founders embarked on a journey to realize the ambitions of young professionals. In a colorful ceremony on Saturday, the new chapter and committee were announced.
M Asif Rahman, a successful information technology entrepreneur, was appointed chapter president. This new committee also includes a number of skilled and young entrepreneurs.
The ceremony included the presentation of chains to the newly elected local president as well as the inauguration of all new committee members.
M Asif Rahman, the new local president, said “our chapter will work specifically to spread JCI’s awareness across the country, as well as useful development such as networking and leadership qualities among young entrepreneurs.
Mr. Russell T. Ahmed, President of the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS), spoke as the chief guest, and Mr. Niaz Morshed Elite, President of the JCI Foundation, spoke as a special guest in this program. This event was attended by JCI Bangladesh President Md Ziaul Haque Bhuiyan, JCI Bangladesh Vice President Altamis Nabil, and many other JCI leaders.
Junior Chamber International (JCI) is a group of active young people aged 18 to 40. JCI is based in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. JCI has more than 2 lakh members worldwide and operates in more than 120 countries. Currently, more than 30 JCI local chapters are active in Bangladesh.
