For the first time in Bangladesh, Lily Little One, a brand of Remark HB Limited, has introduced a 100% safe cornstarch powder for babies, marking a groundbreaking innovation in the baby care industry. After three years of extensive research and development, the American-formulated powder has been approved by pediatric specialists as a safe and natural alternative to harmful talcum powders.
Developed in collaboration with Benchmark Cosmetics Laboratory (USA) and Remark Nature Engineering Lab, the Lily Little One Cornstarch Baby Powder has passed multiple safety and quality tests in internationally recognized laboratories across the USA, Thailand, and Poland. Made entirely from corn, the powder is free from talc and chemical additives, ensuring gentle and irritation-free care for babies’ delicate skin.
A key highlight of this innovation is the use of locally sourced corn from Bangladesh, contributing not only to safer baby care but also to the country’s agricultural growth.

S.A.H.M. Shahre Alam, Chief Business Officer of Lily, stated, “Lily Little One Cornstarch Baby Powder is the safest and most naturally produced baby powder in the country. Our goal is to provide parents with a truly safe and trustworthy product for their children.”
Initially, the new powder will be available in all Harlen stores and major departmental outlets nationwide.
The launch follows rising global concerns over the safety of talcum powders, as several international brands faced lawsuits and discontinued talc-based products due to health risks. While many Western countries have already adopted cornstarch-based baby powders, Bangladesh had yet to see such a shift, until now.
