Md Shakawath Hossain receives the ‘Best Hospitality Business Professional of the Year’ award
Md Shakawath Hossain has been awarded the “Best Hospitality Business Professional of the Year” at the Weekly Arthakantha Business Excellence Award 2022.
Hossain is currently the CEO of Unique Hotel and Resorts PLC and the co-chairman of the Bangladesh International Hotel Association’s (BIHA) standing committee of Planning and Development.
The award-giving ceremony was held at The Westin Dhaka, with Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni as the chief guest.
On the occasion of Weekly Arthakantha’s 23rd Anniversary, a special event was hosted to recognize the tremendous impact of business leaders in Bangladesh. The event culminated in the unveiling of a special issue entitled “Global Bangladeshi Business Icons”.
Among the honorees was Md Shakawath Hossain, who was presented with a trophy in recognition of his outstanding business contribution and leadership in the field of Hospitality and Tourism.
