Microsoft is launching ‘Bing Chatbot’ on mobile

Bing Chatbot allows a user to ask up to five questions at a time and up to 50 questions in total per day. This initiative is giving very effective results in reducing the amount of long chatting and irrelevant questions.

Earlier this month, Microsoft announced the addition of artificial intelligence chatbot technology to search engine Bing. Since then, Bing users on the desktop version have been using the chatbot experimentally by registering. This time, Microsoft has announced the launch of chatbot facility in the mobile app of the Android and iOS version of the search engine. The news is from Spanish media El Pais.

After enabling the chatbot feature in the desktop version of Bing, several inconsistencies appeared. Many users also question the accuracy of the results provided by the search engine’s chatbot. And in view of this complaint, last week Microsoft launched a new version by solving the problems in Bing’s chatbot technology.

A similar chatbot facility has been added not only to the mobile app, but also to the Microsoft-owned Internet browser ‘Edge’. Google search engine is more popular than Bing as a worldwide search engine. But Bing’s addition of AI-powered chatbots to its mobile search engine is getting a lot of buzz.

More than 1 million people used the chatbot technology on the search engine in just two weeks after the feature was added. It is expected that the number of Bing search engine users will increase due to the addition of the feature to the mobile phone version.

According to the technology giant Microsoft, most of the users have expressed satisfaction after using the chatbot technology in the search engine. However, many users have complained that the Bing chatbot is behaving inconsistently in certain areas.

Microsoft authorities have made several changes to the Bing chatbot based on user complaints. For example, the tendency to express emotion in language is reduced when answering certain questions. The company has also adopted strategies to reduce the number and time of conversations.

According to a report by tech website Sennett, the Bing chatbot allows a user to ask a maximum of five questions at a time and a maximum of 50 questions in total per day. This initiative is giving very effective results in reducing the amount of long chatting and irrelevant questions.

In the new version of Bing Chatbot, when asked an irrelevant question, the chatbot responds with, “Sorry. I do not wish to continue this conversation.” But in the old version, in many cases, the questions were given objectionable answers and because of that, criticism was generated.

Open AI chatbot ChatGPT has already created a buzz around the world. Microsoft announced a $10 billion investment in OpenAI as a partner of the platform. It has also been reported by Microsoft that chatbot technology will soon be added to Skype, the popular messaging service owned by the company.
