On 28 August 2024, Mir Cement provided 2000 bags of relief supplies to flood victims in nine wards and three unions of Baghaichari Municipality, Rangamati.
The relief items included clean drinking water, dry food, oral rehydration solution (ORS), and basic first-aid medicines.
From Mir Cement, Assistant Brand Manager Md. Yusuf and Senior Officer Yusuf Kabbo were present. The relief distribution was overseen by the local Upazila Executive Officer, Shirin Akter, along with Assistant Project Implementation Officer Md. Jihad Hossain, along with representatives from the army, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB, as well as the chairman, members, local public representatives, and other notable individuals of the respective Upazila.
