Mir Group, a leading real estate and construction conglomerate in Bangladesh, is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive strategic growth, operational excellence, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in the real estate/construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. This position requires expertise in project development, building codes, land laws, compliance, and operational management. The COO will oversee multiple projects, manage cross-functional teams, optimize workflows, ensure quality and cost efficiency, and guide sales and marketing initiatives to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
• Develop and implement business strategies and operational plans aligned with company goals
• Identify new business opportunities and competitive market positioning
• Establish company policies, SOPs, compliance frameworks, and performance standards

Operational Management
• Monitor ongoing projects for timely delivery, quality control, and cost efficiency
• Oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, vendor management, procurement, and logistics
• Track KPIs including project progress, sales targets, and customer satisfaction

Sales, Marketing & Business Growth
• Guide sales and marketing teams to achieve revenue targets
• Approve sales strategies, pricing policies, and promotional campaigns
• Maintain relationships with corporate clients, channel partners, and key stakeholders

Team Leadership & Culture Development
• Lead, mentor, and motivate departmental heads to meet objectives
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and ethical practice
• Conduct performance reviews, identify skill gaps, and recommend training or recruitment

Reporting & Coordination
• Prepare operational reports and analytics for Board review
• Coordinate inter-departmental activities for smooth workflow
• Represent the company in external meetings, client negotiations, and industry forums

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; MBA in Finance preferred
• 15–20 years experience in real estate/construction with 5+ years in senior leadership
• Age: 38–50 years
• Strong knowledge of project development, building codes, land laws, and compliance
• Excellent communication, negotiation, decision-making, and leadership skills
