Narayanganj Businessman Masud Karim Wins a Japanese Car by Purchasing a Walton Air Conditioner

Narayanganj’s Chashara based businessman, Masud Karim, recently received a complimentary Japanese car as a reward for purchasing a Walton air conditioner (AC) during the ongoing “Walton Digital Campaign Season-18.” This initiative aims to build a customer database and provide efficient online-based after-sales services, according to a press release.

In line with the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha festival, Walton launched Season-18 of the campaign, offering customers the chance to win stylish cars, cash vouchers, and various free products upon purchasing Walton refrigerators, televisions, ACs, and washing machines from any Walton Plaza, distributor outlet, or the e-plaza online sales platform. These benefits are available until July 15, 2023.

On June 5th, at a ceremony held at the Badhan Community Centre in Chashara, the Senior Executive Director of Walton, renowned film actor Amin Khan, and Walton’s Sports Brand Ambassador and all-rounder of Bangladesh’s National Cricket Team, Mehedi Hasan Miraz, officially handed over the car key to Masud Karim, the lucky Walton AC customer. The event was attended by Walton’s Deputy Managing Director (DMD), Amdadul Hoque Sarker, Walton AC’s Chief Business Officer Tanvir Rahman, Senior Executive Director Md Firoj Alam, and Sankar Chakrabarty, the proprietor of Walton’s exclusive showroom, Electro Hut.

Masud Karim, who lives with his family on Khanpur main road, purchased a 1.5-tonne Walton AC from Electro Hut on May 31st to escape the scorching summer heat. After the purchase, he digitally registered his new AC using his phone number, receiving an SMS notification from Walton confirming that he had won a car for free as part of the digital campaign’s Season-18.

Expressing his gratitude to Walton, Masud Karim said, “I was speechless when I received the SMS informing me that I won a car for free simply by purchasing an AC. This has further strengthened our trust and faith in the Walton brand. Providing a free car alongside an AC purchase truly showcases Walton’s strength. My family is grateful to Walton.”

Cricketer Mehedi Hasan Miraz remarked, “Today’s program proves that Walton has lived up to its promises to customers. Amdadul Hoque Sarker, DMD of Walton, stated, “Walton is committed to delivering high-quality products and providing the greatest benefits to customers. As part of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha celebration, Walton has offered free cars and other special benefits to customers. Numerous customers across the country have already received free products from Walton, and two customers were awarded free cars for purchasing a refrigerator and an AC.”

To participate in the campaign, customers need to register their Walton fridge, TV, AC, or washing machine immediately after purchase through a fully computerized system. They then receive an SMS notification regarding their eligibility for a car or other gifts, and the respective gifts are handed over to them by the concerned officials at the showrooms or Walton Plaza.
