NOVOAIR celebrates its 10th Anniversary
NOVOAIR, the country’s leading private airline, has completed ten years of operation and is commemorating the occasion with a variety of programs.
According to a press release issued on Monday, NOVOAIR launched its first flight on January 9, 2013, from Dhaka to Chattogram.
Mr. Mofizur Rahman, Managing Director of NOVOAIR, acknowledged the concerned authorities, business associates, and esteemed passengers on the occasion of NOVOAIR’s tenth anniversary.
“Our journey began with a promise to provide world-class service. Our company’s highest priority is to ensure on-time flight operations and safe travel. “These two main mantras, safety and service, are equally important to us,” he said.
“NOVOAIR has served more than 5.5 million passengers by operating more than 1 lakh flights in 10 years by overcoming various challenges and adversities and has been established as a trustworthy, reliable, and trusted airline. As we enter the New Year, we pledge to provide better passenger service by expanding domestic and international destinations to meet the needs of our valued customers, as well as adding more aircraft to the fleet,” he added.
NOVOAIR currently operates domestic flights from Dhaka to Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Sylhet, Jashore, Saidpur, and Rajshahi, as well as international flights to Kolkata.
Furthermore, it transports passengers directly from Jashore to Cox’s Bazar and from Rajshahi to Cox’s Bazar.
NOVOAIR is constantly striving to improve the quality of its passenger services by introducing new ones.
To that end, as the country’s first airline to provide special services to passengers, NOVOAIR-EBL co-branded prepaid MasterCard, a mobile app for easy ticket purchase and web check-in to make the check-in process as simple as possible, and NOVOAIR-MTB co-branded credit Activates the card service are all available.
The fortnightly travel magazine The Bangladesh Monitor named NOVOAIR Best Domestic Airlines in 2014, Best Domestic Airlines in 2019, and Best Ontime Performance Airlines in 2021.
