Pickaboo Emphasizes Faster Delivery as Quick Commerce Gains Momentum

Pickaboo, an ecommerce startup that specializes in mobile devices and gadgets, has announced a new delivery service that promises to deliver products within three hours. Called FastPick Express, the service was initially launched as a beta and was only available to select customers in select areas. However, the company is now planning to expand this service to all its customers.

Pickaboo has reported that 35% of its deliveries in Dhaka city are currently delivered within 3 hours, and it has received a great response from its customers after launching the service. Based on this success, Pickaboo plans to expand this service to cover all its deliveries in the coming months and will also be expanding the service to other cities outside of Dhaka.

“Pickaboo has built its positioning on superior customer service. The company is also betting on faster delivery. Mobile and gadgets are often impulsive purchases. Delays are bad for impulse. Pickaboo wants to serve the customers when they want it.”

Pickaboo, an omnichannel ecommerce startup that focuses on mobile and gadgets, has launched a new service that promises to deliver products to customers in Dhaka within three hours. The service is called FastPick Express, and after a successful beta test, the company is looking to expand it to all customers. The service is part of a new trend in ecommerce called quick commerce, where companies are trying to deliver products as quickly as possible to improve customer experience and encourage customers to order more frequently.

Pickaboo’s FastPick Express service promises a guaranteed 3-hour delivery within select areas of Dhaka. The company says almost 35% of its deliveries in the city are currently delivered within 3 hours, and after the initial run, it received an overwhelmingly positive response from customers. The company plans to expand the service to 100% of its deliveries in the coming months and also outside Dhaka.

Pickaboo previously had two delivery options: regular and FastPick. Regular delivery usually takes multiple working days to deliver a product while FastPick delivers a product the same or the next day. FastPick Express delivers products in three hours for a premium fee. The company charges BDT 120 for 3-hours delivery in Dhaka city.

Pickaboo’s entry into the quick commerce race marks the first time a mobile and gadget-focused ecommerce company has introduced a 3-hours delivery service in Dhaka. The company was also the first to introduce same-day delivery in the country in 2018.
