Pran Dairy receives top taxpayer award

Pran Dairy Limited, a sister concern of Pran Group, has been named the top taxpayer in the food and allied category for FY22.

This recognition was given by the National Board of Revenue (NBR) at a ceremony held at the Officers’ Club in the capital on Wednesday. Choudhury Atiur Rasul, Director (Accounts) of Pran-RFL Group, received the award on behalf of the company.

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal and Senior Secretary of Finance Division Fatima Yasmin were present as chief guest and special guest respectively.

Choudhury Atiur Rasul said, “Pran-RFL group’s every entity is playing important role in the development of the country through paying vat and tax regularly. We are getting recognition from the government every year for paying vat and tax that inspire us.”

The NBR honoured 141 top taxpayers for the year 2021-22, including 76 in the individual category, 53 companies, and 12 in other categories.
