The final episode of the PUSTI-Prothom Alo School Debate Competition has seen young debaters showcasing their talent and wit at St. Joseph Higher Secondary School in Mohammadpur on Saturday, 27, January, 2024.
The event, which commenced with the national anthem and flag hoisting, witnessed participants from various areas engaging in intellectually stimulating debates.
The national flag was hoisted by Emeritus Professor Rafiqun Nabi, Mustafa Haider of Co-organizer PUSTI (TK Group) hoisted the flag for the debate competition. Dignitaries like Brother Leo Perera, Rubana Haque, Mohit Kamal, Prothom Alo editor Matiur Rahman, and managing editor Anisul Haque graced the occasion.

The competition initially began last year and saw regional debate competitions held across 35 districts nationwide. The best teams from each district and top five teams from Dhaka competed at the national level, featuring parliamentary debates, Barwari debates, and quizzes.
The event not only highlighted intellectual prowess but also fostered a spirit of healthy competition among young minds.
