Rajbari District has won the Anwara Mannan Beg Antjela Football Tournament organized under the patronage and cooperation of Ispahani. To spread the popularity of football across the country and at the grass root level, this tournament was held at Charsultanpur, Char Bhadrasan, Faridpur.
On the occasion of the closing ceremony, Mohammad Mohsin Baig presided over the ceremony held at the grounds of Char Sultanpur High School yesterday at 3 pm. Architect Mujahid Baig, Secretary General of Anwara Mannan Baig Foundation conducted the event.
Deputy Commissioner Kamrul Ahsan Talukdar was the chief guest on this occasion and District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Shahjahan, Upazila Executive Officer Mohammad Mehedi Morshed, BKSP General Manager Brigadier General Anwar Sadat Abu Md were present as special guests. Fuad, Ispahani Tea Limited Wing Manager Mizanur Rahman and Divisional Manager SM Tariqul Islam etc.

In this tournament Rajbari district football team beat BKSP 3-1. Eight teams participated in this tournament. The other teams are Faridpur Football Academy, Jhenaidah District Football Team, Kushtia District Football Team, Natore District Football Team, Magura District Football Team and Shams ul Huda Academy of Jessore.
