Rangs Limited launches 'Mitsubishi Outlander SUV' for Bangladesh Market

Rangs Limited, the official distributor of Mitsubishi Motors in Bangladesh, has launched the new Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SUV in the local market.

Unveiled at Mitsubishi’s Tejgaon showroom in Dhaka, the Outlander Sport comes equipped with four specialized driving modes tailored for Bangladesh’s weather and road conditions. The vehicle also features an 8-inch fully digital instrument cluster, enhancing driver convenience.

The SUV is packed with the latest technology, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and navigation. Safety remains a top priority, with features such as six SRS airbags, anti-lock braking, electronic brake-force distribution, active stability control, blind spot warning, and rear cross-traffic alert technology.

For better performance on slippery roads, the Outlander Sport includes an active yaw control system and a tyre pressure monitoring system. It also comes with multiple charging ports, a wireless charger, an electronic parking brake, parking sensors, and a rearview camera.

Design-wise, the SUV stands out with its eye-catching “T”-shaped headlights and rear combination lights. Measuring 4,390 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width, and 1,635 mm in height, it offers a ground clearance of 222 mm. The vehicle is powered by a 1,499 cc, 4-cylinder DOHC 16-valve 1.5L MIVEC engine, paired with a CVT (F-1-CWA) transmission and 18-inch machine-cut alloy wheels. It is available in six distinct colours.

Shoeb Ahmed, Divisional Director of RANCON Auto Division-1, expressed his excitement about the launch: “We are delighted to introduce the new Mitsubishi Outlander Sport in the SUV segment. We believe its performance will help customers move more freely in their day-to-day lives and strengthen their trust and confidence in Mitsubishi.”

Mohammad Hamdur Rahman Simon, CEO of Rangs Limited, added, “With a five-year warranty and three complimentary servicing sessions, we are hopeful that this new SUV will make a significant impact in the market.”

Assembled in Indonesia, the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is priced at Tk 49.50 lakh. Fahim Hossain, Divisional Head of Marketing at RANCON Auto Division-1, encouraged interested buyers to visit the flagship showrooms in Dhaka and Chattogram for a test drive.

Other notable attendees at the launch event included Saleh Ahmed, Divisional Head of Finance, AFM Musfiqur Rahman, General Manager and Head of Supply Chain, and Meherun Nessa Faruk Sonia, AGM and Deputy Head of Private Sales.
