Remark HB Limited has been honored with the prestigious Green Factory Award 2025, recognizing its excellence in workplace safety, environmental sustainability, and public awareness in the cosmetics, skincare, and homecare industries.
The award, presented by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, marks a historic achievement—Remark HB Limited is the first and only cosmetics company in Bangladesh to earn this distinction.
At a ceremony held at Dhaka’s Osmani Memorial Auditorium, the award was handed to Managing Director Ashraful Ambia and Director Alamgir Alam Sarkar by Labour and Employment Adviser Brigadier General (Retd.) Dr M. Sakhawat Hossain, Industry Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan, and Secretary A H M Shafiquzzaman.

“Remark has elevated the credibility of locally made cosmetics,” said Dr Sakhawat Hossain. “Their quality-first approach is helping Bangladeshi beauty products gain recognition globally.”
Industry Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan added, “Remark is a prime example of how sustainable manufacturing can go hand in hand with commercial success.”
Operating with cGMP and ISO-certified facilities, Remark HB Limited produces halal-certified skincare and cosmetics using advanced technology. The company recently secured $2 million in export orders at Dubai Derma—one of the world’s leading skincare exhibitions.
Looking ahead, Remark will represent Bangladesh at Cosmoprof CBE ASEAN 2025 in Thailand, showcasing over 500 made-in-Bangladesh products.

“The Green Factory Award affirms our mission to produce affordable, science-backed skincare in an environmentally responsible manner,” said MD Ashraful Ambia.
Jamal Uddin, General Secretary of ASBMEB, praised the company for reducing import reliance and boosting job creation in the sector.
With growing investment in research, innovation, and exports, Remark HB Limited is emerging as a regional leader in sustainable skincare and cosmetics manufacturing.
