RSGT, operators of Saudi Arabia’s largest container terminal at Jeddah Islamic Port, is actively looking for outstanding Talents to join their planned operation in Patenga Container terminal in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Established in 2009 as Saudi Arabia’s first private terminal operating company, RSGT is now the busiest container terminal on the Red Sea, handling more than three million containers (TEU) annually, and they are expanding operations into new global markets.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate with the team: Coordinate with the marketing and communications team, third-party vendors, and other departments to ensure marketing and PR campaigns are running smoothly and as per schedule.
  2. Support budget planning: Support the Head of Marketing and Communications in budget planning and monitor budgets to ensure that spending is on track.
  3. Execute PR strategy: Support the Head of Marketing and Communications in executing the PR strategy that has been created to ensure execution runs smoothly.
  4. Event planning: Responsible for following the events calendar designed annually to execute events internally and externally and also accommodate to all ad-hoc requirements regarding arrangements of visits, conferences, ceremonies, etc.
  5. Marketing Materials Management: The incumbent will assume responsibility for overseeing the storage and accessibility of all marketing and communications materials critical to executing our marketing campaigns. High accountability for ensuring that the inventory of materials is effectively managed, and a system is put in place for tracking their availability. Additionally, generate a monthly report covering the availability and non-availability of such materials.
  6. Analytics: Track and analyze the success of ongoing marketing and communications initiatives and refine future campaigns based on those insights.
  7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders: Work effectively with departments across the company, including sales and operations, to understand their needs and align marketing and PR efforts accordingly.
  8. Support brand management: Support the Head of Marketing and Communications in maintaining and upholding the company’s brand standards and guidelines across all marketing and communications activities.
  9. Crisis management: Support the Head of Marketing and Communications in handling unexpected media inquiries or crises with professionalism and accuracy.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest marketing and PR trends, techniques, and technologies to ensure the company is continuously evolving and staying competitive in the industry.
  11. Media relations: Support the Head of Marketing and Communications in nurturing relationships with key media outlets and influencers to facilitate positive coverage and maintain positive relationships with the media.
  12. Measure campaign effectiveness: Track and evaluate the success of key marketing campaigns using metrics such as website traffic, email open rates, and social media engagement.
  13. CSR Project Management: Build effective relationships with partner organizations aimed at executing and measuring the success of corporate social responsibility programs to develop and implement CSR programs in line with overall Marketing and Communications strategy and company objectives and policies.
  14. Employee Loyalty Program Development: Responsible for creating initiatives designed to build high levels of loyalty among our employees by working collaboratively with departmental heads and the HR team to build comprehensive employee benefits programs that leverage the appropriate reward mechanisms such as promotions and discounts while remaining financially sustainable for the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing and events management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of marketing analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Comfortable with working under tight deadlines, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability to change.
