Sadia Rayen Ahmed becomes the new chairman of Dutch Bangla Bank
Sadia Rayen Ahmed has been elected as the new chairman of Dutch-Bangla Bank Ltd. This decision was made during the bank’s 267th Board of Directors meeting held on June 12. She takes over the position from Sayem Ahmed.
Sadia Rayen Ahmed has been associated with the bank as a director since June 14, 2022, according to an official press release. Her extensive experience in the business sector spans back to 2012, where she served as the deputy managing director (finance) of several textile spinning mills with a remarkable monthly export value of $80 million.

Her educational background comprises studies at prestigious institutions including the American International School Dhaka, Branksome Hall Canada, and the University of Toronto St George, Canada.
