ShareTrip Pay, the country’s first-ever Travel wallet, partners with Southeast Bank PLC., said a media statement Monday.

Nuruddin Md Sadeque Hossain, managing director of Southeast Bank, and Mr Kashef Rahman, founder of ShareTrip Limited & ST Pay signed the agreement on behalf of their organisations.

By signing the agreement, ShareTrip Limited & ST Pay has joined Southeast Bank’s e-Commerce Payment Gateway Service, Credit Card Bill Payment, Debit Card Fund Transfer and transfer of money to ST Pay Account using Visa and Mastercard branded Debit, Credit and prepaid cards.

The deal will allow ShareTrip Limited, an Online travel agency (OTA) to accept online payment from VISA and Mastercard holders against flight bookings, hotel reservations, holiday package deals, cruise bookings, activities and tours, travel deals and promotions, frequent flyer and loyalty programmes etc by using Southeast Bank Payment Gateway Service.

Abidur Rahman Chowdhury, deputy managing director of Southeast Bank and other high officials from both organisations were also present at the ceremony.
