ShareTrip Becomes Tittle Sponsor of Monitor Airline of the Year 2023
ShareTrip has become the Title Sponsor of the highly esteemed Airline of the Year 2023 Awards, organized by The Bangladesh Monitor, the country’s premier travel trade publication.
According to a press release, Kazi Wahidul Alam, Editor of The Bangladesh Monitor, and Sadia Haque, CEO and Co-Founder of ShareTrip, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on July 6 in Dhaka to solidify the partnership.
The awards will evaluate airlines across various categories, including Best Business Class, Best Economy Class, Best In-flight Entertainment, Best In-flight Meal in Business Class, Best In-flight Meal in Economy Class, Best Regional Airline, Best Long-haul Airline, Most Favourite Frequent Flyer Programme, Best On-time Performance, Best Budget Airline, Cargo Airline of the Year, Best Domestic Airline, Best Onboard Services, and Airline of the Year.
During the event, Kazi Wahidul Alam expressed, “Our objective is to assess airline services from the customers’ perspective and foster healthy competition among airlines to enhance their service standards. The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding was attended by Sohail Majid, Chief Operating Officer; AKM Mahfuzul Alam, Chief Sales Officer; Mofassal Aziz, Head of Brand and Communication of ShareTrip; Pizush Bagchi, Head of Events and Activations at Triune Group; and Mahbub Sultan, Head of Sales at The Bangladesh Monitor, among others.
The ShareTrip Monitor Airline of the Year 2023 opinion poll, aimed at selecting the best airlines operating in Bangladesh across different service categories, will be launched soon. A panel of judges from diverse professional backgrounds will determine the winners based on the poll results. The winners will be announced and honored during an elaborate award ceremony scheduled for October 2023 at a city hotel.
The Bangladesh Monitor introduced the ‘Monitor Airline of the Year’ awards in 2007 as an annual event, marking its commitment to recognizing excellence in the aviation industry.
