Shark Tank Bangladesh has hit a major milestone in its debut season, amassing 10 crore BDT in investments. This achievement underscores the show’s vital role in fostering innovative businesses across the country.

Throughout the season, many groundbreaking ventures captivated the Sharks. Notable investments included ‘Palki Motors’ (Bangladesh’s first electric vehicle company), ‘Booktionary’ (an online bookstore), ‘Pulse Tech’ (a medical software company), ‘Ostad’ (a career counseling service), ‘Notun Kichu’ (a daycare service), and ‘Motsho’ (a seafood business).

The 10 crore BDT milestone was reached in the electrifying 10th episode aired last Friday, featuring four unique businesses, each securing investments from the Sharks.

Shotota Traders

Shotota Traders makes eco-friendly floor carpets from recycled plastic and a special type of grass. Although stylish and sustainable, they didn’t secure a deal this time.

Soya Gallery

Soya Gallery offers homemade health foods like Tofu, Masala Tofu, and Soya Milk. They secured a deal of 20 lakh BDT in cash and 10 lakh BDT in marketing/advisory assistance for 20% equity, reflecting the Sharks’ confidence in the organic food market’s potential.

Dubo Tech

Dubo Tech, a deep-tech startup focused on autonomous underwater technology for tourism, naval, and port inspection industries, bagged a 50 lakh BDT deal and access to R&D facilities for 10% equity. The Sharks were impressed by their cutting-edge tech and strategic partnerships.

Recipe Food Products Limited

Recipe Food Products Limited, committed to producing and selling 100% organic products, didn’t land a deal this time. Despite their quality commitment, the Sharks decided to pass.

Episode 10 showcased the incredible diversity and innovation of local entrepreneurs. While not all businesses secured deals, they demonstrated unique strengths. Successful pitches by Soya Gallery and Dubo Tech highlighted the Sharks’ interest in health-focused and tech-driven businesses, setting a high bar for future episodes.
