Six NGOs Unite to Launch 'Innovation for Development' Forum to Support Marginalised Communities

Six prominent NGOs have come together to launch the ‘Innovation for Development’ (i4D) forum, a major initiative aimed at improving the lives of underprivileged communities through innovative solutions. The announcement was made on Monday, 23rd September, during an event in the capital city, where representatives from the participating NGOs outlined the forum’s vision.

The founding NGOs include Friendship, Save the Children, World Vision Bangladesh, Sightsavers, Shastho Shurokkha Foundation, and Jhpiego. The i4D platform will foster collaboration among NGOs, government agencies, non-profits, and private sector entities to create scalable and sustainable solutions for vulnerable communities.

The event also featured the launch of the ‘Innovation Book,’ highlighting the innovative initiatives these organisations have implemented over the years. Runa Khan, Founder of Friendship, emphasized that innovation, paired with values like kindness and tolerance, is key to creating lasting change.
