State-owned mobile operator Teletalk has introduced a new “Gen-Z” package aimed at the younger generation, offering unlimited data and yearlong bundle offers.

The package was unveiled at a ceremony held in the conference room of the Posts and Telecommunications Division at the Secretariat, as announced in a press release on Tuesday.

The package, inspired by the term “Generation Z” which gained prominence during July’s mass uprising involving students and the public, is designed for those born between 1997 and 2012—currently aged between 12 and 27 years. Initially branded as “Gen-G,” it has been launched with a special focus on this demographic.

Priced at Taka 150, the package is available at a discounted rate of Taka 100 for the first 30 days. It offers the most competitive price in the market for unlimited data and annual bundle offers. Additionally, it includes 1-second pulse rates, affordable voice tariffs, and a Premium Membership service for job seekers with 12 months of free benefits.

New customers can purchase the SIM from Teletalk Customer Care, while existing Teletalk users can access the Gen-G package by registering via the MyTeletalk App on Google Play Store. Feature phone users can activate the package through USSD code *111#.
