Travello introduces wide range of luggage products in the Market

Travello, the luggage brand under the country’s leading business group RFL, is expanding its product range in response to domestic demand by introducing locally manufactured luggage, thereby reducing reliance on imported products. The brand is launching new products in the market tailored to the needs and preferences of consumers. RN Paul, Managing Director of RFL Group, unveiled eight new designs during a program held at RFL’s headquarters in Badda, the capital, on Sunday. Among these designs, five are hard luggage while three fall under the soft luggage category, marking Travello’s debut in the soft luggage segment in the Bangladesh market.

During the event, RN Paul highlighted the significance of luggage as a crucial travel accessory. He mentioned that approximately 60 percent of the luggage used in Bangladesh is imported, primarily from China, with most domestically produced luggage being imitations of renowned international brands. In light of this scenario, RFL initiated the production of Bangladesh’s first branded luggage.

Nur Alam, Executive Director at RFL Electronics, emphasized that buyers typically prioritize three factors when purchasing luggage: design, ease of use, and security. He stated that Travello luggage has been developed with these considerations in mind, resulting in a significant positive response from the local market within a short span of time.

Manufacturing of Travello luggage takes place at RFL Electronics’ dedicated factory located in Danga Industrial Park, Narsingdi. Currently, the market offers around 70 designs of Travello luggage across two categories, priced between Tk 750 and Tk 5,800.
