Twitter has revealed a new logo as X
Elon Musk has recently hinted at significant changes for Twitter as the platform looks to recover from a decline in advertising revenue. Musk plans to spearhead a rebranding effort, replacing Twitter’s iconic blue bird logo with an “X” symbol. This strategic move comes as advertisers have been slow to return to the platform, leading to a decrease in advertising revenue.
In a recent Sunday post, Musk engaged with his millions of followers, seeking their input on a potential change to Twitter’s color scheme from blue to black. He presented an image featuring a stylized “X” against a space-themed black background and expressed his intention to bid farewell to the Twitter brand, including its iconic bird logo.
Following this announcement, Linda Yaccarino, Twitter’s new CEO, expressed her enthusiasm for the transformation, highlighting the rare opportunity for a second chance to make a lasting impact in both life and business. She acknowledged Twitter’s profound influence on global communication and expressed confidence that the rebranded “X” would further evolve the platform into a transformative force, akin to China’s WeChat.

Under Musk’s eventful leadership, Twitter has already undergone changes, adopting the business name “X Corp” as part of Musk’s ambitious goal to create a multifunctional “super app,” similar to WeChat.
Notably, in April, Twitter temporarily replaced its legacy blue bird logo with Dogecoin’s Shiba Inu dog, contributing to a surge in the cryptocurrency’s market value.
However, Twitter faced criticism from users and marketing professionals after Musk’s recent announcement that the platform would impose limits on the number of tweets per day for various accounts. This move sparked widespread debate and scrutiny.
As Musk takes Twitter on this new journey of transformation, the platform aims to redefine its identity, diversify its offerings, and create a more engaging and innovative digital experience for users worldwide.
