ULAB Hosts Career Fair 2023 to Connect Students with Top Employers

On February 25th, the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) hosted a day-long Career Fair 2023 for current students and alumni. With the motto “Connect to the Future,” the fair aimed to provide opportunities for attendees to connect with top employers and explore potential career paths.

ULAB’s Career Fair 2023 brought together 64 multinational and national companies, including Grameenphone, Standard Chartered Bank, Dhaka Bank, Marico, and Lanka Bangla Finance, among others. These organizations collected numerous CVs from potential candidates during the event, as stated in a press release.

The fair’s chief guest, Naser Ezaz Bijoy, CEO of SCB and President of FICCI, advised students to prepare themselves for any challenge. The Vice-Chancellor of ULAB also delivered a speech at the event. According to Jamal Uddin Jamy, Director of Career Services at ULAB, the objective of the fair was to create opportunities for ULAB graduates to secure corporate jobs and gain insights into the country’s top organizations.

Following the inaugural ceremony, a panel discussion on “What will it take to shape the workforce of the future,” a workshop on Resume Writing, and a training session on Communication and Negotiation Skills were held.
