Unilever Bangladesh Limited (UBL) has launched a crucial humanitarian effort to alleviate the financial strain on over 2,100 cleaning workers across 41 wards in Chittagong.

The initiative aims to address the economic challenges faced by these workers due to their inability to perform their duties amid current circumstances.

Unilever Bangladesh Limited has partnered with Young Power in Social Action (Ipsa), a development organization, to implement this urgent support. Since 2022, UBL has been leading a major municipal plastic waste management project in the country. This project, which involves 2,100 sanitation workers in Chittagong, includes a focus on improving their livelihoods as part of its broader goals.
