Unilever Consumer Care Limited (UCL) Secures Prestigious ‘Gold Award’ for Outstanding Corporate Governance
In a remarkable achievement, Unilever Consumer Care Limited (UCL) has been honored with the coveted ‘Gold Award’ for Corporate Governance Excellence, bestowed by the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) at the 10th ICSB National Awards 2022, within the Food and Allied Companies category.
This significant recognition marks the third consecutive win for UCL, underscoring their unwavering commitment to transparency, accountability, and disciplined corporate governance practices.
During a recent event held at a prestigious hotel in the capital, the ‘Gold Award’ was presented to UCL by a distinguished panel of guests, including Tapan Kanti Ghosh, Honorable Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce; M Nurul Alam FCS, Senior Vice President and Chairman of the CGA Committee of ICSB; Md. Nojibur Rahman, Chairman of the Board of Governors (BoG) of the Capital Market Stabilization Fund (CMSF) and Former Principal Secretary of the Prime Minister. The esteemed award was received by Barrister S.O.M. Rashedul Quayum, Director, and Mohammad Naharul Islam Molla, Company Secretary, on behalf of Unilever Consumer Care Limited.
