US-Bangla Airlines is seeking an ambitious and results-driven individual to join our team as Sr. Executive/Asst. Manager, Commercial-Electronics for our e-commerce platform, Cartup.
This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with proven experience in category management, vendor relations, and digital sales within the highly competitive consumer electronics sector. You will be responsible for driving the growth, profitability, and overall strategy for our electronics category, from top brand management and mega campaign execution to performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities & Context
Category Strategy & Management
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for the electronics category, encompassing consumer electronics, home appliances, and accessories.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, customer behavior, and the competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and potential threats.
- Define and continuously optimize product assortment, pricing models, and promotional strategies to maximize category profitability and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Lead and manage mega promotional campaigns from inception to execution.
Supplier & Vendor Management
- Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key suppliers, top brands, and distributors.
- Negotiate strategic contracts, pricing, and supply terms to secure the best possible deals and guarantee consistent availability of high-demand products.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely inventory replenishment and effectively manage stock levels to minimize both stockouts and overstock situations.
Sales & Performance Optimization
- Establish, monitor, and achieve critical sales KPIs, revenue targets, and profit margins for the electronics category.
- Partner with the digital marketing team to create targeted campaigns, implement effective SEO strategies, and manage paid advertising for electronics products.
- Optimize product listings, content quality, and product placement across the platform.
- Manage key account governance to streamline partnerships and operational efficiency by maintaining defined KPIs.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (Marketing specialization is preferred).
Work Experience
- 2–5 years of proven, hands-on experience in category management, business development, or a related commercial role, preferably within the consumer electronics sector.
Additional Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and supply chain coordination.
- Strong track record of successfully managing mega promotional campaigns, driving significant sales performance, and leading cross-functional collaboration (e.g., with marketing, logistics, and tech teams).
- Experience working with digital tools and platforms, including ERP, PIM systems, analytics dashboards, and online marketplaces.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the capability to derive actionable insights from large datasets.
- Outstanding negotiation, communication, and professional relationship-building skills.
- Deep understanding of customer behavior, effective pricing strategies, and product positioning in the electronics market.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and efficiently manage multiple projects concurrently.
